AFFORDABLE MAKEUP BRUSH SET REVIEW

Makeup brushes can be expensive. If you have ever watched a beauty youtuber then you have probably heard them talk about Sigma, Real Techniques, or IT Cosmetics brushes. These brushes are all very good quality, but can be pricey. The cheapest Sigma brush is $14.00 with the highest priced brush set being $411. Real Techniques brushes are not as expensive. the lowest priced brushes are around $8 and the highest priced brush set is around $40. Even though these brushes are not as expensive it can still be difficult to find that much money to spend on makeup brushes. This is why I decided to search the internet for an affordable, good quality brush set.
I finally found a brand on Amazon that sold brush sets that had very good reviews. Their most popular brush set has 4 1/2 stars and 6,724 reviews. Since this set was so popular, I decided to try the 14 piece rose gold brush set. This set included 5 face brushes and 9 eye makeup brushes

It only took 4 days for me to receive the brush set after I placed my order. When I opened the package the brushes smelled like paint and chemicals. However, this smell went away after they had been washed. A few of the brushes had a few stray bristles that were longer than the others. I fixed this by using scissors to clip the long bristles to the right length.
I really loved the quality of the face brushes, but some of the smaller eye makeup brushes did not really grasp the eyeshadow powders very well. The smaller brushes did get the job done even if I had to pack on the shadows more than usual. This makeup brush set is only $9.99 and you get 14 brushes so I can not complain too much about the semi-poor quality of the eye makeup brushes.
I use the majority of these brushes every day and I think they are great! I have washed these brushes multiple times and they have all held up very well. I have not noticed shedding while using these brushes or during the washing process. I do recommend these brushes if you are on a budget and want good quality makeup brushes.
